Salt Mountains
These photos really have nothing to do with anything, except that they conceptually remind me of the photographer Jin Lee (I love the name of her website- 'Jins' with an 's' http://jinslee.net/saltmountains/index.html) who we saw when we went to the museum of contemporary photography.

these remind me of an interesting chicago artist dana carter who created these tapestries by letting salt crystallize on the bottom of black fabric over a chunk of time. http://www.deveningprojects.com/artists/dana-carter. dan devening used to teach color theory at nu and incidentally...jin lee is on his roster!
